How to effectively fundraise for an FX fund?

Ronald is the co-founder and managing partner of Bride Valley Partners and has held, for the last twenty years, various roles in the alternative investments industry. He worked at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) in the bank’s Alternative Asset Management Group, which managed then portfolios worth $50 billion. As a portfolio manager as well as analyst, he conducted manager evaluation, selection and monitoring across a wide range of investment strategies. Ronald was the main advisor for Dinvest Japan & Asia, the bank’s dedicated Asian fund of funds. He also worked in the bank’s Hedge Fund Advisory Group, providing bespoke multi-strategy portfolios to institutional and ultra-high net worth clients. Ronald helped growing the London based Advisory business from $800 million to $3 billion. At SwissEdge, a fund of hedge funds based in Geneva, he acted as a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Committee. One of the portfolios for which Ronald was responsible, the Kintaro Fund, was the top performing fund of hedge funds in the industry in 2005 according to EurekaHedge. Prior to Bride Valley Partners, Ronald worked as Managing Director at Revere Capital Advisors in London, an emerging hedge fund manager specialist focused on identifying and commercialising the most compelling new alternative investment opportunities. An acknowledged expert, Ronald is regularly invited to speak about alternative investments at global conferences (GAIM, Risk Hedge, Hedge Fund Emerging and Startup Forum) on topics such as emerging manager investments.
